In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Raleigh; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in North Carolina are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (919) 594-7029. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, heirloom-raleigh.com.

We only ordered one dish cause we ate a pretty late lunch and had some snacks. The chicken rice was not bad. The only thing I would recommend is to not put too much sauce in the rice cause it makes the rice too flavorful. We think the chicken was not bad tho! Very delicious.

What an amazing experience we had! The food was amazing and Chef Josh came out and talked to us about his culinary journey. This is, by far, one of the best restaurants in Raleigh and the number 1 underrated restaurant in Raleigh I've ever been to. I had never been there for dinner before. I had only come for breakfast and lunch and coffee but the dinner experience was truly out of this world. What a beautiful night. I would definitely go again in a heartbeat. Also for the quality of food that you get, the prices are amazing.

Positively surprised with food and selection of drinks. Coffee is great, βcloudβ drinks are interesting and not too sweet. Nice , very relaxed atmosphere. Good for casual relaxed time with friends or working on a laptop. We will come back.

My partner and I visited Raleigh for a weekend, and while driving through I found this Asian-inspired Cafe! The drinks were solid and the food was good. We tried the congee and the chicken biscuit (fried chicken sandwich on a biscuit). For 2 drinks and brunch entrees, the total came out to be about $40.
